From this lesson, we learn to think out of the box, mainly through the mind-mapping method. Through this method, we managed to think the many other uses/potential uses for the ashtray.
As mentioned above, one of the examples include the use of an ashtray as a hovercraft. This is especially creative as it's hard to think of any other uses for the ashtray besides as a means of collecting discarded ash from cigarettes.
Thusly, creativity is important as we need creativity to create something people had not come up with before to benefit the society around us.
